Searchly

Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the Searchly channel on Roku. By using the app you agree to them. "We" means the team that runs Searchly. You can reach us through the support details on the Searchly page in the Roku Channel Store.

The service

Searchly lets you search the web, images and videos, read pages in a simpler format, and get AI-generated answers and summaries. Results and pages come from third-party sources. We do not own or control that content and are not responsible for it.

Free use and Premium

You can try Searchly with a limited number of free searches. Searchly Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited searches, video playback, AI answers with voice follow-up questions, and AI page summaries and page questions. Video results are shown to everyone, but playing a video requires Premium. Videos are provided by Dailymotion and may be unavailable at times. The price and billing period are shown in the app in your local currency before you subscribe.

AI answers and summaries

AI features create text automatically and can be wrong or out of date. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Check important information with a trusted source.

Kids mode

Kids mode filters adult content and is protected by a PIN you choose. It reduces but cannot guarantee the removal of all unsuitable content, so adult supervision is still recommended. Keep your PIN private.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. That includes trying to break or overload it, extract data in bulk, bypass limits, copy the app's interface to access our servers, or use it for anything unlawful.

Availability

We aim to keep Searchly running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or end the service or any feature.

Warranty and liability

Searchly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss arising from third-party content or from AI-generated text. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be excluded.

Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date above. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

Your local laws

These terms do not remove any rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
